Home Improvement

Once Michael and I were married, we immediately began working on our home. Our home has been in Michael's family for quite some time. His older brother lived in the house while he went to college, his middle brother and cousin lived there while going to Troy and his aunt lived there as well while she was working. So, needless to say, there was plenty of room for improvement.

My mom has made 2 trips since the wedding to help flip this house. In one weekend, we transformed our current, college, animal infested living room, to a sophisticated, newly married, family room. It is beautiful. There are warm colors and different furniture and it is wonderful.

Last weekend, my mom and aunt came down and gave our bedroom and bathroom a face lift. It is so pretty and who knew you could work with pink tile?! My aunt is such a visionary. (Something, my mom and I aren't quite comfortable with) Michael and I are so fortunate to have great family who are willing to give up their weekend to help us.

Who knows what is next?

Our Wedding Day

On November 20, 2010 I married my best friend. Michael and I met here in Troy about 2 years ago. He was involved in baseball and I was beginning my internship with Troy City Schools. We soon new that there was something special between us. On February 17, 2010 Michael proposed and the ball began to roll.  Planning, meeting, ordering and making many decisions paid off. Our day was everything we wanted and more. Enjoy looking at a few of our special moments.

Michael is currently working in Dothan and pursuing a MBA at Troy. I am working with Troy City Schools and pursruing my masters in Education at Troy. Although we are both enrolled in school, we make time to cherish our relationship and not loose sight of what brought us together. The foundation of our relationship is strictly based on God's grace and faith. We know that God's plan for our lives will begin to unfold as we start this new journey together.
